Clean food refers to a diet based on fresh, natural and largely unprocessed foods without artificial additives.

Clean Food refers to a way of eating that focuses on fresh, natural and unprocessed foods. This principle is put into practice in egora’s catering in order to provide guests with first-class, healthy dishes. The ingredients are free from artificial additives, preservatives and contaminants.
Clean eating emphasises wholefood and plant-based ingredients from predominantly organic cultivation, processed by hand. Instead of refined sugar, natural sweeteners such as bananas, dates and rice and maple syrup are used. Wheat is avoided; instead, gluten-free alternatives such as quinoa, millet and buckwheat are used. Doing without dairy products makes the dishes equally appealing to vegans and vegetarians.
Wholegrain products as well as fresh, regional and seasonal fruit and vegetables form the basis. The offering ranges from fresh bowls and crisp salads to wraps and Asian dishes. Plant-based proteins and healthy fats from nuts, seeds and pulses provide the necessary macronutrients. One example of the artisanal quality is the handmade rye sourdough bread from a local bakery.
egora relies on biodegradable take-away packaging made from recyclable paper, biodegradable plastics and plant-based materials. Electric vehicles minimise CO2 emissions during delivery and support climate-neutral production.
Clean Food is suitable for private celebrations such as weddings and birthdays, business events and summer parties, as well as for employee and corporate catering, including vending catering. The concept is also used at trade fair appearances and in nursery catering with DGE-certified menus. It is complemented by bespoke menu design with gluten-free, lactose-free or halal options, as well as comprehensive service including equipment, set-up and take-down.
